Family stuff and a bit of the EG

Just a quick post today. If I’m quiet it’s because my mother has taken a turn for the worse and I’m needed. I know that many of you know her, she will be 95 in June, and has been very frail for some time. On Saturday she suffered a mini stroke and has deteriorated. As always, though, she is peaceful and content.

If you are close to Farnborough, Hampshire, in the UK you might like to know that there is an Exploratory Meeting to gauge the interest in forming a new branch of the Embroiderers Guild. Here are the details

I’ll be back in touch soon. I’ve lots to tell you about workshops and more.

Missenden Abbey – again!

Yes, we are back at the Abbey on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there.

Later this week I’ll be starting a new series here, directing you to inspirational stitchers, some of whom may be new to you. I’ll also have news of some new workshops.

Watch this space!

Missenden Abbey

We are the suppliers at Missenden Abbey on Saturday. Don’t forget to let us know if you need anything specific. I’m teaching at Wey Valley Workshop tomorrow, so an email is the best way to let us know.

I’ve also just listed a number of new colourways of the Sassa threads, they are linked from here, but you will have to keep scrolling down to find them all. All the listings today are unrepeatable collections and two of them have already gone. Click each picture over there to find them, payment is via PayPal.
