That’s it for this year!

How lovely to see so many of you at Cottenham.  Textiles in Focus is always good, and this year was no exception.  Several groups organised coaches, which meant no driving, and this was good for those travelling a distance.

This poor photograph was taken during setup, and you can see that we were blinded by the sun at times!!  Not only was it a chance to meet customers it was also a time to socialise with friends.  Details of next year will come at a later date, but make sure you book early for the workshops when they are announced.

Now, it’s onwards and upwards.  Teaching at Alston Hall and Sticky Fingers is next…..  Not long now.  Don’t forget to check out the giveaway, if you haven’t already entered, it will be drawn on March 8th.

Don’t Delay! Do it Today

Textile in Focus is in February.  Details are ready now, and if you want to book your workshop etc you really need to do it NOW!

Held just outside Cambridge over three days, this year’s event is scheduled for 17th, 18th and 19th February.  You can download the  TEXTILES IN FOCUS – Official Programme 2012 by clicking the link.  Decide what you would like to do and send off straight away.  I’ll be there with Winifred Cottage – so don’t forget to come and say ‘hello’

Now, if you can’t wait that long for something creative you could always sign up for this

I know that Christmas is a busy time, but that will be gone before we know it and then you can make a start.

Sorry if we missed you!

It was lovely to catch up with some of you at the Festival of Quilts, but it was a very quiet show this year.  I’ve blogged a little about it here.

The above picture isn’t a quilt, I thought I’d show you the latest in the one a day collage series.  If you have missed any you can catch up with them here.  Most of them are made using the conservation tissue and some feature a hand-carved stamp.  I’ll be publishing some more tutorials for the tissue in the next while.  I’ll let you know when the next one is there.
