Colour has been business for a number of years. Crochet is one of my current means of expression and I enjoy enabling other creatives. Some of my blogs are kept as daily records. Take a look and you will see.

    1. He certainly pushes the boundaries of textiles. I like some of his work, some I don’t understand, but he brings out the best in students, especially children. I think that’s important.

  3. I have a feeling It was Michael Brennand Wood who came to Kempshott Juniors, many years ago now, to be artist in residence for a week. He set the children the task of designing the sculpture for the new (as it was then) roundabout at the Sainsbury’s on the way to junction 7. The chosen design was by a young girl called Melissa Godfrey. She had Cystic Fibrosis, altho’ he wouldn’t have known that when he chose it. She died at the age of 22 a few years ago so it is a lovely way to remember her. He was amazing with the children and they created some incredible work.
