Some of you know that I publish the occasional tutorial on my personal blog. Well, today I’ve posted the first stage of a new one. Keeping a sketchbook is a discipline. Most people don’t do it because they are afraid of criticism, and because they don’t like what they see – it isn’t ‘good’ enough. Well, this was the exercise that moved me on from that position, and I’m gladly sharing it with you. You’ll find it here. I hope you will give it a go.

Do you keep a journal?
I’m not sure if I’ve told you this before, but I sometimes post on this little blog.
There’s a new post today, and it may be of interest to one of you – so here’s the link.
I don’t journal every day, but I do keep a book with ideas and scribbles. It’s a good idea, let me know if you do the same.
Aren’t these just adorable!
I’ve written more in this post here, but I just wanted to give you a hint of what we did yesterday at the embellisher workshop.
The pair I’ve chosen here are no more adorable than any of the others – so please take a look. This is such a fun workshop. You learn far more than just how to make a little pair of boots, in fact, yesterday was dubbed by one student as ‘the happiest workshop ever’!
